mHelpDesk closes more deals… MHelpdesk allowed us to shorten our billing cycle and save money on office staff. Prior to using mHelpDesk, we were finding it difficult to keep our field and office staff organized. We found ourselves taking a call and typing information into a calendar system (1st entry of data). The tech would then go out and complete the job by using a carbon copy paper work order (2nd entry of same data). The tech would then upload the work order time and billing information to a spreadsheet for the office to use for billing (#3). Lastly, the office staff would create an invoice in Quickbooks for the work completed based on that spreadsheet (#4). We were spending countless hours entering the same data over and over again and it was very messy and scheduling was often difficult. We tried other software makers out there only to find high prices and clunky solutions at best. With mHelpDesk we were off and running within a week or two. I thought that it would take months to get all of our staff and techs trained. Now we just enter information once (upon taking the initial call) and it is done. The technician is able to enter job information in the field with a phone, capture a signature and then send out an invoice and mark the job as closed. Unbelievably convenient and organized. We find that because our billing cycle is so short, we get paid faster without spending as much time trying to collect on old unpaid debts.The side benefit to all this is that we can create estimates from anywhere. In the field or in the office, from virtually any device. In the past we had to try to do this all of this from a form-fillable PDF. It was a nightmare. We had no idea that mHelpDesk would allow us to send out professional estimates with ease. mHelpDesk closes more deals because the estimates look great and we can track them from inside mHelpDesk as opportunities. If needed, we can convert the estimate to an actual scheduled job should the customer call us back to perform the work. In all we are extremely pleased with the mHelpDesk software and staff support..

A unique system that integrates a ticketing solution with invoicing software. The problems we had prior to mHelpDesk included multiple systems. We had a ticketing system and an invoicing system. Technicians would create an invoices, but would not create a ticket. If an issue had come back up nobody would know what had been prior to the last call. mHelpDesk integrates the ticketing software with the invoicing software.

My time has freed up greatly… mHelpDesk is so easy to navigate and set up and the frequency of updates means mHelpDesk listens to their customers. Before using mHelpDesk I was using 4 different programs to run my business. Having to switch between different programs made mistakes more common. Since mHelpDesk I use only 2 software programs. mHelpDesk and my accounting software (Quickbooks), which of course mHelpDesk links to. In one day I had everything linked and organized and I generated my first invoice. Before using MHD we would need to manually schedule our services. As a property management business with 3 franchise locations MHD gives me the ability to track all work orders in each of our locations. Each of our offices were using their own individual solutions for tracking repair and maintenance work. With MHD each franchise is using the same system. mHelpDesk has given us the ability to schedule onsite calls for any of our technicians. We love using mHelpDesk. We are a growing five man computer repair shop in Tustin, CA. When I was a one man business it was easy to know what’s going on because I did it all. Now with four technicians on the payroll, it’s a lot more complicated tracking everything. mHelpDesk has given us the ability to schedule onsite calls for any of our tech’s, invoice customers as we complete their work, and collect payments at the time of delivery in the shop or onsite, it has been very beneficial in both time savings and tracking purposes. It’s also a great tool to use in the shop at the front counter because it works with our bar code scanner and our credit card swipe machine for payments. Now we are very organized with a high visibility to what’s going on. I’ve tried many solutions in the past, I was last using QuickBooks online for the invoicing but they don’t offer a scheduling solution so we always seemed to have a disconnect between the two. It made it difficult to track the technicians daily schedules compared to their invoicing each day. Another problem was, if you can believe it, QuickBooks Online doesn’t integrate with QuickBooks Desktop which I use in the shop for bookkeeping purposes. Now that we’re using mHelpDesk in the shop and on the road, every customer goes into our database, all our technicians have visibility to the calendar for scheduling new calls, payments are collected in the shop and onsite, the export tools let me synchronize mHelpDesk activity with my QuickBooks Desktop for my accountant, and the reports let me know who’s doing what.

All notes and communications are together and Mhlepdesk provides superior features like time tracking for precise tracking of time spent on a job. Whenever there is a need for support, rarely, the response is almost immediate from mHelpDesk. Amazing product and amazing service! Before using mHelpDesk it was a task to keep all the notes and time tracking together. Creating an invoice took twice as long and tracking issues and payments was difficult. With mHelpDesk the administration overhead is cut to a minimum to allow focusing on the work at hand. One example of the streamlined process with mHelpDesk is setting up billable items that are linked to inventory items. Once a billable item is configured, very quick by-the-way, it simply takes a click to add the item and if the inventory quantity is low an alert message tells you it is time to re-order.
