Job Views (Filters)This drop-down is located at the top of the job list. It allows you to toggle between different job views and filters. Selecting Show All will show you all jobs. Selecting Show New or Open will only show jobs that have the status new or open.
Adding a custom Job ViewOut of the box, MHelpdesk gives you a handful of custom views. If you find that you need to create your own custom views, click the green + sign next to the drop-down. Select the criteria for this view, and give it a name. This list will be added to your drop-down.
More ActionsThe More Actions drop-down allows you to perform a batch update on several items at once. For instance, you can close multiple jobs in one update. Just check the box next to the items that you want to update, and select the action from the list.
Customize ViewOn the top right corner of the job list, you’ll see a Customize View link. This link allows you to customize the information displayed on the Job List. You can hide or show additional fields as needed.
Summary BoxBy default, the Summary box displays information about Today. It shows today’s appointments, jobs and customers that were added today, and gross sales for today.
Outstanding BoxThe outstanding box shows you Job’s Past Due, which are jobs that are past due and still not CLOSED. It also shows you the total number of Invoices With Balances, which are invoices that customers have not paid.
ShortcutsBy hovering your mouse over some of the items on the Job List, MHelpdesk can quickly pull up details about that item. The following items can be moused-over.
- Subject – Displays details about the job.
- Customer – Displays the customer’s contact info.
- Assign/Appointment – Displays the date and time of an appointment
