Several new enhancements have been released this week. I’ll go over some performance enhancements first, then I’ll discuss feature enhancements second. We’re really excited to share the latest tools to help you become the best service provider EVER.
Improved Speed and Load Times
We’ve been making very good progress on speeding up mHelpDesk and improving load times. First, we’ve grown our customer base significantly which magnified some bottlenecks. We’ve already resolved a handful of them and will continue on this effort. It’s not easy being the #1 Rated Field Service software 🙂
We also identified that our old PDF engine that creates all those fancy Work Orders and Invoices as being too slow. We’ve completely replaced it with a new engine and have seen a significant performance gain from this.
Auto-Saving Job Forms
We are now auto saving all the data that you fill out on the Job Forms. If you leave your browser for several hours and come back or if your computer crashes you’ll still have the data saved when you come back. This also works on the Log/Notes tab as well. This should ensure no form fields are lost in the event of a session time our or browser accidentally closing.

Combining Parent Customer Invoices
Previously, you could combine invoices assigned to each sub customer or service location. You now have the ability to combine invoices at the parent-customer level, which means you can combine invoices between sub customers as long as they’re assigned to the same parent customer. To do this, go to Transactions > Invoices > Combine Invoices > Pick a parent customer > Select the invoices you want to combine > Combine.

Due Date Column in Assign View
If you’ve booked a customer appointment, but you’re not ready to assign it to a staff member just yet, you can now view the due date and TIME for each unassigned work order. There is a new column within the Assign View on your mHelpDesk calendar.
