mHelpDesk customers can get a $50 Amazon.com gift card for each Qualified Referral and give friends (the Referees) a special invitation to a free trial and product demo of mHelpDesk.
To refer a friend, you must be an active mHelpDesk customer that has a paid subscription to mHelpDesk at the time the Qualified Referral is made and follow the steps to share mHelpDesk outlined here. You will receive an email with your Amazon.com eGift Card reward after we determine, in our sole discretion, that the Referee) meets the following Qualified Referral conditions and requirements:
To constitute a Qualified Referral:
1. The Referee must click on your unique Refer-a-Friend program link.
2. The Referee must attend and complete a product demo of mHelpDesk within 90 days of receipt of their lead information.
3. The Referee must be “new” to mHelpDesk, defined as never previously attending a product demo of mHelpDesk and never previously being a mHelpDesk paid customer.
Referrer (you!). Refer multiple friends—there’s no limit, but additional/repeat demos by the same Referee are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals and therefore will not garner additional rewards; in other words, you can’t earn multiple Amazon.com gift cards for the same Referee.
Referrer Eligibility. In addition to being an active mHelpDesk customer that has a paid subscription to mHelpDesk at the time the Qualified Referral is made, you must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years old. Employees, legal representatives and partners of mHelpDesk are not eligible to participate in the program.
Other Referrers from Your Company. If your coworker refers the same friend as you, the reward will go to the advocate whose shared link was clicked on last by the referred friend before he or she signed up for a product demo. See an example here.
Referee. The Referrer and the Referee cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address). The Referrer can’t refer anyone in their company or household or create multiple or fake accounts. Referrers must respect the spirit of the Program by only referring third-party individuals and businesses who they think would be interested in field service automation software or its features. Some examples of good referrals:
- Your friends that are field service pros.
- Your family members that have other field service businesses.
- Anyone you’ve talked to in real life that has a field service business and you think might benefit from mHelpDesk.
- A small private Facebook, Meetup or LinkedIn group where you know everyone that can see your posts
- Visitors to an unrelated blog post.
- A Craigslist listing promising a payout to field service pros.
- Hijacking the top comment on a LinkedIn post.
- Mass email to your entire family.
Referees from the Same Company. If you are referring individuals who work for or are part of the same company and they all complete a product demo of mHelpDesk, you are limited to earning one $50 Amazon.com gift card; in other words, you can’t earn multiple gift cards for referees from the same company.
No Spam. You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from mHelpDesk’s Refer-a-Friend program.
Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms. mHelpDesk reserves the right at any time and for any reason to modify these terms, or to change, interrupt or stop the Refer-a-Friend Program either for a period of time or permanently with or without notice. We reserve the right to delay, cancel, revoke, or prevent payment of rewards in any suspected case of fraudulent use or misuse of mHelpDesk product or this Program. Referrals and rewards are subject to verification at mHelpDesk’s sole discretion.
If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, unenforceable, or non-binding, you will remain bound by all other provisions hereof. In such an event, invalid provisions will nonetheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and each participant will at least agree to accept a similar effect as the invalid, unenforceable, or non-binding provision given the contents and purpose of these terms and conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, these Refer-a-Friend Program Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Virginia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be exclusively submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in Fairfax, Virginia.
