So many of you guys are asking to for some way to either prompt or auto-close a ticket when the final payment is made on an invoice. So let’s discuss this. I’ve left the comments open on this post so you can reply directly at the bottom of this when you are done reading.
The solution we propose is to prompt the user to close the ticket when the payment amount equals the invoice amount. So essentially, when the invoice has been paid we’ll prompt a message box like “This invoice has been paid. Would you like to close this ticket?”. We don’t want to auto-close the ticket without a prompt because there are cases where the ticket still needs to remain open.
